Football NFL Draft

Every April, prior to the season, the National Football League conducts the NFL draft to sign players to the teams.

The NFL draft selection order is based on the previous years’ win/loss record standing. The worst team gets the first draft pick and the best team receives the last draft pick of each round. The draft takes places over a two day period with seven rounds and 32 picks per round. The final draft pick in the NFL draft every year is humorously named Mr. Irrelevant.
